/Unique exterior and interior styling makes Mii by MANGO stand out

Is your perfect car stylish, urban and sporting a unique feminine touch? Then the SEAT Mii by MANGO available from Pulman SEAT is just the car for you.

SEAT and leading Spanish fashion label, MANGO, have joined forces to create this special edition top-of-the-range car, which is available in Pulman SEAT’s showroom in Sunderland now.

The SEAT Mii by MANGO, available as a three- and five-door boasts an abundance of exterior styling touches to make it stand out from the city car crowd. It comes in a choice of two striking and modern paint colours – Deep Black or Nude, the latter exclusive to the Mii by MANGO. There is special badging on the car’s body, with tinted rear windows, dark grey 15-inch alloy wheels and contrasting detailing around its sides.

The car’s interior also benefits from a very fashionable makeover with unique alcantara upholstery and a discreet Mii by MANGO logo on the headrests, doors and floor mats. The special edition also includes a hook on the glove box to safely hang a bag, while for an outlay of an extra £690 you can opt for the Mii by MANGO styling pack, which adds a panoramic sunroof and front fog lights.

Chris Slater, Site Manager, Pulman SEAT, said: “The interior of the Mii by MANGO is like the inside of your favourite bag: there are cool compartments made specifically for women. The MANGO topstitching on the leather steering wheel as well as the gearstick are subtle, but fashionable touches and a reminder of the iconic brand behind the car.
“However, there is a lot more to the SEAT Mii by MANGO than its stylish exterior and fashionable interior. All the cars are equipped with the SEAT Portable System Live which allows users to access the car’s sat-nav, Bluetooth phone connectivity and music controls via a removable touch screen placed on top of the dashboard.”

Other standard kit comprises electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, remote central locking and electric door mirrors.

Mii by MANGO is powered exclusively by the punchy 75PS version of the VW Group’s three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine with five-speed manual gearbox, offering a combination of sound performance with impressive eco credentials. This frugal engine returns good fuel economy figures of 60.1 mpg, while emitting 108g/km of CO2.

Prices for Mii by MANGO start at £10,995, and the car is available for as little as £85 per month on 0% finance. For a limited time, several MANGO accessory packs are available for each order. They comprise a suede handbag, umbrella and two fashion pouches.

New Polo infotainment system - better than the Golf 7?

The new Polo infortainment system is faster, more responsive and better connectivity than Golf 7 system.

The new Polo features a brand new infotainment system, which is a step up from the MIB system originally launched on Golf 7.

The colour touchscreen of the Composition Media system in the Polo is 0.7 inches larger than the one supplied with the Golf. The Polo’s system also has faster processing times and a more responsive user interface.

Bluetooth connectivity in particular has improved significantly. New Polo enables Bluetooth audio streaming when connected with compatible Android or Apple devices. You can view album, artist, and track listings, see track titles and control track selection via the multifunction steering wheel from SE trim.

With Bluetooth hands-free telephony, the Composition Media and Discover Navigation systems on new Polo feature a new SMS function which allows customers to read, compose and send text messages using the 6.5 inch touchscreen, when paired with compatible Android phones. This feature includes convenient SMS templates for quick responses such as ‘On my way’, and the Polo reads received SMS messages out loud for greater ease of use.

Voice Activation is offered on new Polo as part of the focus on convenience and customer safety. Spoken voice commands for telephone and navigation functions help ensure that eyes are on the road at all times. This feature is a £185 option from SE trim and above.

There are two levels of USB connection on new Polo. The S (A/C) trim offers audio playback from a USB stick and also charges devices when connected with the correct charging cable.

From SE trim and above, with the Composition Media system (or optional Discover Navigation system), the USB port connects with audio devices and mobiles phones, including Apple products, to allow track listings, track titles and track selection via the car controls.
