The Skoda Citigo Black Edition has been revealed, adding a variety of technology, comfort and exterior options as standard equipment.
Skoda has expanded its Citigo range with the launch of a new Black Edition, which adds some unique styling features and extra technology to the affordable city car.
In the Citigo range, the new Black Edition bridges the gap between the SE trim and the Monte Carlo special edition.
The Citigo Black Edition sports either a Deep Black or Candy White exterior paint job, depending on customer preference, as well as 15-inch Black Auriga alloy wheels.
The new trim level is available in three-door or five-door formats and with a choice of black or white paint. Outside, it comes with body-coloured door mirrors and 15in black alloy wheels.
Inside, it gets a height-adjustable driver's seat, manual air conditioning and Skoda’s removable infotainment system with satellite navigation as standard. It also gets Bluetooth, front electric windows and tinted rear windows. An entertainment pack with four additional speakers (over the SE’s two-speaker set-up) is included, too.
The Black Edition is available only with the lower-powered version of the Citigo’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, giving 59bhp and 62.8mpg average fuel economy.
The Black Edition bridges the gap between the SE and Monte Carlo spec levels and is available to order now. It carries a £1715 premium over the base-spec Citigo, priced at £9990 for the three-door model and £10,340 for the five-door.
