Newcastle United and the new Passat

What does an 8 Goal Spectacular and
a New Passat have in common?

Newcastle 4 - 4 Arsenal
It was the 87th minute of one of the most amazing comebacks the game of football has seen since the Premiership started! Tiote with a fantastic volley from the edge of the box, scored the equalising goal in a never before seen comeback. A truly fantastic game that will go down in football history.

It was like a party atmosphere in the Pulman box! Pulman Volkswagen and Newcastle United have a fantastic relationship and what an amazing photo of Tiote celebrating the comeback

Truly was a game to remember!

The following Wednesday Pulman and Newcastle United joined forces to launch the brand new luxurious 7th generation Volkswagen Passat! An exclusive event was planned, where the lucky 20 guests enjoyed a full English Breakfast prior to a driving event that would challenge their driving skills with a fuel consumption test.

Whilst half the group toured the stadium, taking in the players changing rooms, dugouts, pitch and media suite, the others embarked, in teams of 2, to complete a 13 mile test drive route encompassing varying road and traffic condition to determine who could achieve the highest fuel consumption.…The winners with an amazing result of 66.4 MPG were Richard Aitken and Mansel Priestley of Hawkins, who were delighted to receive a VIP Newcastle United experience including match day tickets and a chance to watch the teams run out onto the pitch from the home dugout.

Richard Aitken “It was a lot of fun, the whole day, and what a fantastic idea to have the consumption test, and as a huge Newcastle fan myself, it was fantastic to win the tickets!”

New Passat Launch at St James Park

Paul Adams, Pulman Fleet Sales Manager comments, “we wanted to do something a bit different to launch the new Passat. With our fantastic relationship with Newcastle United, it seemed perfect to have the launch at St. James Park, to take advantage of the marvellous facilities within the stadium.”

Mansel Priestley “The whole day was excellent! The new Passat is fantastic to drive, feels like you are sitting in an armchair it’s that comfortable! We will definitely be ordering a new Passat.”
