Best Coupé and MPV in price categories for Leon SC and Alhambra
Pulman SEAT are delighted to share the news that SEAT was awarded two accolades at last week’s WhatCar? Car of the Year 2015 awards for the Leon SC and Alhambra.
Leon SC – Best Coupé up to £25,000
The SEAT Leon SC 1.4 TSI ACT 150 FR was chosen as the best Coupé up to £25,000. Here’s what WhatCar? had to say:
“Is it a hatchback or is it a coupé? Whatever your point of view, there’s no doubting the Leon SC is a brilliant choice if you’re after yle for a reasonable price.”
“For less than £20k, you’re getting a car that’s great fun to drive, packed with standard kit and remarkably practical – at least by traditional coupé standards, anyway.”
“Low running costs are also assured by the 1.4 ACT petrol engine. Trust us, you won’t be able to tell when it’s switched over to ‘economy’ mode."
Alhambra – Best MPV more than £22,000
The SEAT Alhambra 2.0 TDI 140 Ecomotive S was named best MPV over £22,000. Here’s what WhatCar? had to say:
“Another year, another win for the SEAT Alhambra in this top MPV price point. The way it combines serious space with a classy cabin and an impressive driving experience is still the benchmark for MPVs at this price.”
“For large families, little else will cope with their demands so well. Not only will the Alhambra seat seven people in comfort, it will also take a decent amount of luggage with its rearmost seats in place.”
“There’s no need to stray beyond the entry-level 2.0-litre diesel engine, which has plenty of low-down muscle for pulling a fully laden Alhambra, and returns respectable fuel economy.”
Pulman SEAT has demonstrator Leon Sc's and Alhambra's which available for short and long term test drives. We also offer competitive contract hire rates through Pulman Fleet.
